Project Notes: Zula Patrol ADR

A few weeks ago I was invited to help a friend with a project: to provide characters for an existing clip of animation from a TV show caled Zula Patrol. It's a CGI cartoon series featuring creatures that kind of look like walking insects. ADR is Automatic Dialogue Replacement - it's what you do when the picture already exists and you have to fix or replace audio that didn't quite come through in the initial recording. So that's what I did for this project, and what fun! My friend & VO colleague Kurt Kelly provided the male character's voices and I provided the rest. In the end, we gave voice to a handful of charcters using a mixture of existing script and a little improvisation. We had such fun, and I hope you enjoy the results.
